Trigger useful work
Work can be one-off, scheduled, or event-triggered.
Work and Automations
Overall turns an intention into accountable intervention, then a reviewed Result. Automation gives it rhythm; it never replaces people or their judgment.
Overall
A responsibility carried over time
Illustrative example · network intervention
Restore and stabilize distribution point PM-742 after an incident.
The same Work serves two Outcomes: restored connection for Ms. Lambert and Ms. Chu. One intervention, not duplicate work.
From need to Result
The accepted Result records the repair. Its effect on each Outcome is assessed separately; acceptance never automatically marks either Outcome achieved.
A model that stays small
Work can be one-off: no Goal, Outcome setup, or recurring cycle is required to start. A Goal can orient several Outcomes, but remains optional.
Overall prepares actions, executes those authorized in the relevant tools, and brings you commitments that require your decision.
Files, messages, and measurements belong to the Result or its evidence; they do not fragment the Work.
When cause, intervention, responsible party, window, and limits remain the same, Overall reuses the Work and adds the relevant Outcome. A separate incident becomes new Work.
Automations and Autopilot
Autopilot is governed autonomy per effect: context, clear limits, evidence, and human decision when impact, risk, or commitment requires it.
Work can be one-off, scheduled, or event-triggered.
Preview and approval remain visible when needed. Active, paused, and archived Automations stay readable.
Past decisions and rationales can inform a later cycle without ever granting new authority.
From vision to use

Start from the change you need, then give Work the rhythm and limits it needs.
